Maple Sugar Time
Maple Season is quickly approaching and this has been the winter that was not. Tap too soon and the sugar content will be too low requiring more sap to make a gallon of syrup. Or winter may come and your taps will begin to heal over and stop production
Tap too late and it gets too warm risking loss of valuable sap flow.
We are hoping to get production up this year by increasing the amount of taps we use. We will begin tapping the second week of February this year and hope for the best.

Sugar Makers are welcome whether you tap a few trees or a hundred. We have buckets, filters and other sap gathering supplies at our gift shop. If you want to know the sugar content of your sap or density of your syrup give us a call, we can test it for you.
